Marquetry decoration made of green nets and light and dark brown counter-nets. A very geometric spirit.
Inlaid low sideboard opening by 2 doors releasing on a shelf.
It rests on 4 square feet adorned with a groove
The same inlaid tail lamp plays the illusion of a groove. The elegance of this piece of furniture lies in the sobriety and purity of the lines. The cabinetmaker was able to highlight the refinement of this buffet by the use of quality wood used in marquetry. The fine trompe l’oeil moldings of the doors are found on the side panels as well as on the crosspieces and uprights that frame the two doors; as well as on the board.
